Extended Cookie Policy
Introduction
This policy is provided with reference to the website www.famsrl.eu (Site) by FAM s.r.l., a company based at Via G. Ferraris n. 63, Arezzo, 50021, (VAT IT02049970516) (Fam).
What are cookies and what are they used for
A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to their terminal (computer, mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet), where it is stored and then sent back to that site during a subsequent visit.
Cookies are distinguished by:
- The entity that installs them, depending on whether it is the same manager of the visited site (so-called “first-party cookies”) or a different entity (so-called “third-party cookies”).
- The purpose of each cookie: some cookies allow for better navigation by storing some user choices, such as language (so-called “technical cookies”), while others monitor user navigation also for the purpose of sending advertisements and/or offering services in line with their preferences (so-called “profiling cookies”). Only profiling cookies require the user’s prior consent for their use.
The Site uses first-party technical cookies and third-party profiling cookies (described in Section 2 “Cookies installed through the Site” below).
Fam is responsible, in its capacity as data controller, solely for the first-party cookies installed on the Site.
